Teambuilding Challenge Courses
The UREC Challenge Course program is a custom adventure teambuilding program available to groups who want to improve their communication, leadership, or just get to know each other better. Our programs are available for students, staff, community groups, corporate groups, schools and more!
Synergy Course
The Synergy Course is located on JMU’s East side of campus behind the UREC Upper Turf and Softball Field. The Synergy course (Alpine Tower International’s Team Development Course) is an inspiring design for exploring teambuilding principles with almost any organization. Participants are able to hone teambuilding skills such as listening, leadership, planning and communication while embarking on an adventurous and challenging mission. Facilitators choose both the activity and the order to best fit the dynamics of the group and the goals of the experience. Half-day (2-4 hours) or Full-day (6-8 hours) programs available.
Portable Programs
Can’t make it to UREC for your program? Our adventure staff can come to you! If your group needs team building, bonding or communication work we can help with a fun way to meet your needs.
Activities include ice breakers, group energizers, problem solving initiatives, adventure quests ("Amazing Race" and "CSI" programs) and survival simulations.
Half-day (2-4 hours) programs available.
Pricing
- JMU student pricing begins at $10/person for half-day programs and $18/person for full-day programs.
- JMU Faculty/Staff pricing begins at $15/person for half-day programs and $25/person for full-day programs.
- Community and corporate group pricing available upon request.
