UREC Main Building
UREC is a multi-level fitness and wellness center with over 140,000 square feet of activity space. UREC is located on the East side of campus, near the Convocation Center. Building highlights include a 33-foot climbing wall, seven racquetball courts, four basketball/ volleyball courts, indoor track, cardio theatre, indoor pool/sauna/spa area, locker rooms, massage studio, outdoor courtyard with sand volleyball, outdoor turf fields and group fitness/multipurpose studios. UREC also houses an equipment center where sports and camping/outdoor equipment can be checked out or rented.

Bike Racks: There are bike racks located at the front of the building.
Bus Stop: The closest bus stop to UREC is the Hanson Hall bus stop. The bus now stops going both directions. Get off this stop and walk down the steps through Duke Dog alley and take LEFT up hill to UREC. For current bus schedules, visit the Harrisonburg Department of Transportation web site.

Directions from I-81 Traveling North: Take EXIT 245-Port Republic Road/VA-253. Turn RIGHT on Port Republic Road and take the first LEFT on Forest Hill Road. Take LEFT at stop sign on Oak Hill Drive. Oak Hill Drive turns into University Boulevard. Take University Boulevard until you see the Convocation parking lots on your LEFT. Park (in the lot you have a pass for) and walk down the hill past the Convocation Center and you will see UREC on your RIGHT.
