Register Now!Private Swim Lessons

UREC offers private lessons for all ages, starting at 6 months through adulthood. The lessons take place during family hours at UREC.

For current JMU students, faculty, staff members, and affiliates only.

Visit the UREC Welcome Center and purchase a package of 5 half-hour lessons ($65) or 10 half-hour sessions ($120) with FLEX only. There is a DART machine located in the UREC lobby that participants can utilize to deposit money into their FLEX account. This DART machine also provides DART cards. Visitors and participants can purchase the cards out of the DART machine for one dollar ($0.75 for the card and $0.25 credit put on the card). They can then put money on them to use for FLEX charges. For more information about FLEX, visit Campus Card Services.

Once you have purchased the package of your choice, an instructor will contact you within 48 hours to set up dates and times.

Group Swim Lessons

UREC offers group swim lessons for infants, children, and adults in the Fall and Spring Semesters.
