Our goal is to be a competitive team, but to also keep our spirit. Spirit of the game is one of the things that makes Ultimate so unique and fun. We want to train hard, practice hard, and play our hardest in every game, but we also want to do it in a fun and spirited way. Practices and games may get frustrating at times, we may get incredibly exhausted, and we might get completely crushed by other teams sometimes, but at the end of the day we are friends, we are a team, and we are there to have a good time and play a sport we love.

Season
Fall Season practices begin the first week of school and end the last week of classes. We usually only go to 3 or 4 tournaments. The Spring season also begins the first week of classes in January with conditioning. We attend 5-8 tournaments. We leave for tournaments friday afternoons/evenings and return sunday afternoons/evenings. Conditioning during breaks is expected.
Tryouts
There are no try-outs, all JMU women are welcome to attend our practices and see if they would like to join the team!
Membership Requirements
There are no requirements, but members of the team are expected to maintain a certain level of commitment to practices and tournaments.
Dues
Dues for one semester are typically $40.00, plus occasional gas money and food when we are at tournaments.
Practice Schedule
We practice 4 times a week for 2 hours and have scrimmages on Saturdays. Usually we are on the upper turf behind the Convocation Center or on Godwin field and practice either from 5-7pm or 4-6pm.
