Season
Our season is mainly during the fall semester where we will spend most weekends playing in a single game, two games, or a round robin game. Two weekends in the semester, we will dedicate our whole weekend to tournaments where we will have to travel from Friday-Sunday to play in this tournament. These games will all lead up to the National tournament, where we will have to travel from Wednesday-Sunday to compete. Dedication to the team and playing is important in the Fall because we do a lot of travelling and do have to sacrifice some weekend nights. The spring semester is not as intense. We will have only a handful of matches throughout the semester as well as continue to practice to keep in shape and keep playing.

Conference
We play under NIRSA - the National Intramural-Recreation Sports Association under the Collegiate Club Soccer League.

Tryouts
Tryouts are held in the beginning of the Fall semester. Information will be posted at Student Org Night.

Membership Requirements
A healthy competitive edge, team dues, the skill and a positive attitude are all important aspects of club soccer.

Dues
Yearly dues are approximately $500. This includes tournament fees, travel lodging, team dues and our yearly trip to the National tournament. Prices vary depending on location of tournaments.

Practice Schedule
We usually practice Monday-Friday from 4-6pm on the lower or upper turf fields at UREC. We understand that classes will conflict with our practice schedules and you will not be penalized if that is the case.

Achievements

  • NIRSA National Champions 2009
  • Finishing in the top 4 teams of the National tournament in 2008 and 2006.
