Swing Dance Club

The Swing Dance Club at JMU promotes social interaction between the students of James Madison University through the medium of Swing Dance. The organization encourages members to become more comfortable in social dance situations thereby removing the common fears that keep many from dancing. Swing Dance also gives students an opportunity to practice new dance moves, exchange ideas, and cooperate with others.

The JMU Swing Dance Club is dedicated to giving a fun, encouraging environment to any and all who are interested! Come for a week or two just to try it out; if you don't want to stay you don't have to. However, we think the swing 'bug' will catch you and you'll have found one of the greatest social outlets for your college career!

Members
The numbers range from semester to semester. A good estimate average would be 50-75 people.
