Members
Usually about 60 members. We are a very close-knit team. We like to race and win but having fun is our central focus. We work hard all fall semester to make the racing season fun and successful. We love to ride, two boards or one. That brings us all together.

Season
Our season is between six and eight weeks long. We have five regular season races and the potential for two post season races. We typically qualify for Regional’s, the first post season race, and will hopefully get at least one discipline qualified for National’s, the second post season race.
Conference
We participate in the USCSA, the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association.
Tryouts
We do not hold try-outs for the club. Our season begins the first week of second semester and runs for 6-8 weeks. The fall semester consists of working as a team to get to know each other through fundraising and community service activities. We also like to participate in team activities such as zip-lining and making intramural teams together.
Membership Requirements
We adhere to the UREC community service requirement (at least 5 hours per member). We have designed a point system to make the team as fair as possible. The more a member participates in community service and fundraising, the more likely they will be on race rosters come racing season.
Dues
Annual dues are $100. That covers conference, lodging, and coaching fees. Members have to pay individually every race weekend they attend. Lift tickets for practice at Bryce Resort are $10.
Practice Schedule
We practice Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at Bryce Resort in Basye, Virginia starting the first week of spring semester. We meet We meet at the back lot of the baseball lot, down the hill from White Hall at 4:30pm and generally return by 9pm.
