Men's Club Ultimate Frisbee

Our goal is to bring the sport of Ultimate Frisbee to the James Madison University community and in turn broaden the spectrum of sport club teams at this university. The organization will also give students the opportunity to participate in a lifetime sport and affirm physical fitness.

We have a rich history of excellence on and off the field. High level competition, skill development, and physical fitness are all major aspects of the program we have been building. New members are always welcome, so if you've ever wondered what it's like to play on a real Ultimate team, here's your chance. We only ask that you come ready to work hard and have a good time.

Season
Our season occurs in the Spring semester with as many as 5 to 6 weekend tournaments. We practice all fall semester and go to 2-3 warm up tournaments to get ready for the spring.

Conference
We play in the Blue Ridge Section which is part of the Atlantic Coast Region.

Tryouts
There are on-going try-outs to be on the A-team that last from the beginning of the year until mid fall. Anyone who doesn't make the A-team is automatically on the B-team, which participates in their own tournaments and focuses more on skill development.

Dues
A-team dues are $100 a semester, while B-team is $50.

Practice Schedule
We hold regular practices Monday through Thursday from 4-6 on the UREC Upper Turf. This is subject to change based on field availability. Saturdays we hold scrimmages from 2-5 with the location depending on field space availability.
