Members
The team is 25 skaters with 3 goalies. We dress 18 skaters and 2 goalies per game. Skill and practice/event attendance determine who will dress for games.

Season
The season ranges from tryouts in mid September through the end of February. We typically play between 12-20 games plus playoffs per year.
Conference
We play in the Blue Ridge Hockey Conference. The conference ranges from Virginia to North Carolina and is split into 3 divisions with JMU competing in the Atlantic Division.
Tryouts
Tryouts are held in mid September at the Main Street Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia. If you are interested in playing for the team please attend Student Org Night (usually held first week in
September) or contact a board member.
Membership Requirements
Once selected for the team, players must attend practices, events, and games. Payment of dues is also required.
Dues
Dues vary each year depending on roster number and the amount of practices and games played. Typically, dues range between 600-1,000 dollars. This primarily covers ice time for all practices and games, home and away jerseys/socks, and hotel expenses.
Practice Schedule
We practice Wednesday nights at 11pm at the Main Street Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Achievements
- We are a young club as the upcoming 2010-2011 season will only be our third year. We finished fourth out of nine teams in our first season as a member of the Atlantic division last season.
- Individually, Andy Leclair was named 2nd team all BRHC and Mitchell Allen was named BRHC rookie of the year for 2009-2010.
