Executive Board

Season
JMU Dodgeball has a full season from August to April. We travel to several round robins and tournaments throughout the year, and we also host our own tournament in the early spring. We play a total of 15-20 games a year before heading to a National tournament.

Tryouts
We will hold tryouts in the early portion of each semester. We accept the number of people that correspond to the number of open spots on the roster. Interested players are not expected to bring any equipment to tryouts, just wear athletic apparel, and wide receiver gloves(optional).

Membership Requirements
There are three main requirements to be a part of the team:

• Be a full-time student, and academically eligible to be apart of the team
• Pay dues to become a member
• Attend 50% of all events including practices, meetings, social events, community service, and fundraising
  

Dues
Dues are $45 for a full year for people who join in the fall semester, and $30 for a half semester  for the people who join in the spring. Any member who becomes inactive over a semester will be required to pay dues in order to continue the following semester.

Conference
JMU plays in the NCDA, or the National Collegiate Dodgeball Association. The NCDA is the premiere league of collegiate dodgeball teams, and comprises of 40 members that lay on the east coast and the mid-west. Local teams we play include University of Maryland, Towson University, and Virginia Commonwealth University.

Practice Schedule
We practice three times a week in Memorial Gym. Times are as follows:

• Sunday, Thursday from 7:00-9:00pm
• Tuesday from 9:00-11:00pm
