Frequently Asked Questions
 
Q: Where is the Intramural Office located?
A: In the Student Leadership Office on the third floor of UREC.
Q: What are the Intramural Office hours?
A: Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Q: What if I want to play an intramural sport, but I don't have a team?
A: Contact the Intramural Office and they will help locate a team for you.
Q: What is a forfeit bond?
A: A forfeit bond is in case a team doesn't show up for the game. It will cover referee and site manager costs.
Q: How do I put money on Flex for a forfeit bond?
A: There is a machine at the Welcome Desk where you insert your JACard and the appropriate amount of money. This will go on your Flex.
Q: When do I get my forfeit bond back?
A: You will receive it two weeks after the season is over. It will be returned in full on Flex, only if you have not forfeited.
Q: What are the rules for eligibility?
A: All undergraduate students enrolled in seven or more hours. All full- time faculty and staff are eligible, along with spouses, as long as they obtain a URACard. Professional athletes are ineligible and any person on a varsity, junior varsity, or freshmen roster are ineligible for their given sport. Sport club members are limited to two per team.
Q:What if you can't play at your designated time slot?
A: You may opt not to play by showing up at game time with the minimum number of players required, or you may call and cancel 24 hours in advance.
