20/20/20
Two different 20-minute cardio segments followed by a strength segment for a fast-paced workout. Expect medium choreography and lots of variety! All fitness levels welcome.
Athletic Box
This intense class blends Athletic Conditioning with Boxing. Expect to go through a sports drill or two, then take it out on the boxing bags. For high fitness levels. Little choreography.
Body Sculpt
Target your entire body using weights, exercise bands, bars, and Resist-a-Balls for improved tone and strength. No choreography. All fitness levels welcome. View a video clip of this class!
Boot Camp
This early morning workout will get your blood pumping and get you ready for the day. This class is not for the weak in spirit. Be prepared to be challenged physically and mentally. Class is in the courtyard. In case of rain, class will be moved into the Group Fitness Studio. No choreography. Intended for those with a high fitness level.
BOSU Circuit
Move from station to station where you will use the BOSU for various exercises. This challenging workout uses the entire body. No choreography. All fitness levels welcome. View a video clip of this class!
BOSU Strength
Strengthen and coordinate the body in new ways using the BOSU, an inflatable dome on top of a solid platform. No choreography. All fitness levels welcome. View a video clip of this class!
Boxing Fitness
Master boxing techniques by using punching bags, gloves, and little choreography. Intended for those with a high fitness level.
Cardio BOSU
Use the BOSU to get that heart rate going. Expect medium choreography. Intended for those with a high fitness level.
Cardio Craze
A fantastic heart pumping workout with the option of high or low impact moves. Expect intermediate choreography. Perfect for all fitness levels. View a video clip of this class!
Cardio Dance Party
Keep your body moving and shaking to various dance styles and music. Expect a fun, high-energy dance party without having to memorize choreography!
Core Training
Work on strength and stability of the abdominals and back muscles in this 30-minute class. No choreography. All fitness levels welcome.
Cycle Box
Get two favorites in one class - cycle and boxing. You’re guaranteed to get a complete cardiovascular workout while strengthening arms and legs. Expect little choreography. Intended for those with a high fitness level.
Cycle Core
This intense class combines 40 minutes of cycle with 15 minutes of core work and stretch. Medium fitness level. No choreography.
Cycle Fit
Bring your cycle workout indoors for climbs, sprints, and much more. No experience needed, class offers a great workout for all participants. No choreography. View a video clip of this class!
Dance & Sculpt
30 minutes of Worldbeat followed by 30 minutes of full body toning. For all fitness levels. Shoes required!
Endurance Cycle
This longer cycle class is for the true athlete within. This is an intense workout that combines climbs, sprints, pyramids, and other training. Bring your water bottle. For a high fitness level!
Energizer Body Sculpt
This shortened Body Sculpt class will develop and maintain muscular strength and conditioning. Each class focuses specifically on the upper or lower body. Expect little choreography. All fitness levels welcome.
First Step
Become an experienced stepper by learning the basic moves in step. This workout promises to get your heart pumping. Expect basic choreography. All fitness levels welcome.
Gentle Yoga
This yoga class focuses on connecting with your breath and longer poses to open the body, relieving tension. Dress comfortably, however, we recommend thick leggings, spandex pants, or Yoga pants. No shoes. All fitness levels welcome.
The Groove ®
Try a GROOVE class! Learn simple moves, add your own style, get active and have fun. DANCE for the HEALTH of it! Expect basic choreography. All fitness levels welcome.
Happy Hour
Each class offers a unique, fun workout. Hip-hop, aerobics, kickboxing, mind/body theme classes and more! Instructor’s choice! Choreography varies. All fitness levels welcome.
Happy Hour (Cycle)
Let the stress of the week go with a themed Cycle class. Watch out for the week’s theme on the website. All fitness levels welcome.
Happy Hour (Mind Body)
This class offers a different spin to mind/body classes each week. It may be a themed yoga class, pilates, yogalates, or meditation. All fitness levels welcome.
Hip Hop
A music video in the studio! Bust a move in this fun, energetic workout! Expect difficult choreography. All fitness levels welcome.
Informal Boxing
Informal boxing is not a class but an open studio time for participants to work on boxing bags. Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn at all times. It is required for participants to wear wraps and gloves to hit the bags. No sparring: Only the bags may be hit. Participants must adhere to the instructor in charge. All UREC rules apply during informal boxing.
Kickboxing
A high-energy workout based on kickboxing moves and drills. Learn to punch and kick with the best of them. Expect moderate to challenging choreography. All fitness levels welcome. View a video of this class!
Meditation
Meditation is simply learning to listen. Breathwork and guided imagery can be tools to help you relieve stress and tune in to that deep voice within. Take time for you during the week. Relax, recharge, and renew. Each class will feature different meditation techniques. All skill levels welcome for this interactive program. Please dress comfortably and in layers.
Namaste Cycle
A blend of cycle and yoga for an invigorating workout. Expect basic poses. All fitness levels welcome.
On the Ball
Focus on muscular endurance for the entire body using the stability ball and medicine balls. Expect basic choreography. All fitness levels welcome. View a video of this class!
Pilates
Lengthen and strengthen the entire body while focusing on core. Exercises are performed on a mat. Additional equipment may be utilized. Expect basic choreography. All fitness levels welcome.
Power Yoga
Known as the aerobics of yoga, power yoga involves dynamic flow from one pose to the next. You’re guaranteed to sweat in this faster-paced style of yoga that will leave you feeling stronger mentally and physically. Expect challenging vinyasa flow and poses. Intended for those with an intermediate fitness level.

Step
Take your stepping skills up a notch. For those with some step experience and a high fitness level. Expect challenging choreography. View a video clip of this class!
Step & Sculpt
Includes step training with segments of muscular strengthening for a total body workout. Expect challenging choreography. Intended for those with a high fitness level.
Stress Relief
This class involves breathwork, gentle yoga, and meditation or restorative postures. Dress comfortably. All fitness levels welcome.
Stretching
This is a 15-minute drop-in class. If you don’t make stretching a part of your regular fitness routine, we can help. Static and PNF stretching are used to increase flexibility. All fitness levels welcome.
Worldbeat Dance
Have fun dancing your way to fitness with moves inspired from all over the world: Belly Dance, Latin, Salsa, African, Irish, Caribbean and more! Expect moderate to difficult choreography. All fitness levels welcome. View a video clip of this class!
Yoga 2
This class is for students who have been practicing Yoga for at least a year. The class experience will include twists and binds in poses and may begin to introduce inversions. Dress comfortably, however we recommend thick leggings, spandex pants, or Yoga pants. No shoes.
Yoga Fitness
This class combines traditional yoga postures and modern fitness for an incredible mind/body workout that will increase strength, endurance, and flexibility. Expect basic to intermediate poses. All fitness levels welcome. View a video clip of this class!
Yogalates
Combines Yoga and Pilates to strengthen the core muscles, improve flexibility, posture and balanc. Expect basic poses. All fitness levels welcome. View a video clip of this class!
Zumba ®

Zumba ® 101
New to Zumba? Come to this 101 class to learn basic rhythms such as salsa, cumbia, merengue, and reggaeton. Expect basic choreography; all skills levels welcome. Athletic clothes and shoes required. |
