UREC's Learn to Swim program has something to offer for everyone; whether you're a student, faculty/staff member, or a parent who wants to get their child ready for summer. Group Swim Lessons
Parent and Child Swim Lessons
This American Red Cross Course is for participants 6 months to 3 years, 5 months. Parent is in the water with the child and focus is comfort level and water adjustment.

Learn-To-Swim Preschool
This American Red Cross program teaches children ages 3 years, 6 months to 5 years. Focus is on water adjustment and beginning skills.

Private Lesson Program
UREC will be offering private lessons for all ages, starting at 6 months through adulthood. The lessons take place during family hours at UREC (Friday 6pm-10pm, Saturday 9am-10pm, Sunday 12pm-6pm). Visit the UREC Welcome Center and purchase a package of 5 half-hour lessons ($60) or 10 half-hour sessions ($100) with FLEX only. Once you have purchaced the package of your choice an instructor will contact you within one week to set up dates and times. We will begin registration Monday, August 31, 2009. Questions?
