Congratulations seniors, you’ve almost made it! In celebration of your accomplishments at JMU, UREC will host a Sand Volleyball Tournament in the UREC Courtyard area. Come join us and have some fun at the third annual UREC Senior Week Tournament!

The Sand Volleyball Tournament will take place on Thursday, April 29th, 2010 starting at 5:00 p.m. and will wrap up around 7:30-8:00 p.m. The Captain's Meeting will begin promptly at 5 p.m. before the tournament.

Teams are co-ed and should be comprised of mostly seniors, but other students are welcome to join the team as well! Each team must have 4-6 people on the court at all times and team captains must be seniors. Games will be rally-scoring, approximately 15 minutes each and single-elimination.

UREC will be giving out prizes to award the Champions, the team with the Best Name, and the team with the Best Costume (or uniform)!

We encourage all seniors to come hang out with friends even if you are not on a volleyball team. There will be food, music, and other activities to enjoy at the event such as corn hole and ladder golf!

Registration is now OPEN and will close on Monday, April 26th, or after the first 12 teams sign up! Sign your team soon to ensure that you will play! If you are not one of the first 12 teams to sign up, please contact us about your interest. If any spots open we will let you know as soon as possible.
