16th Annual Run/Walk Information
Date: Saturday, October 1, 2011
Race Start: 9am. Registration begins at 8am in UREC. At 8:45am on raceday, each participant must attend a pre-race meeting
at UREC to review rules, the race, and expectations of the 5K.
Location: The 5k begins in front of UREC and continues throughout the JMU campus. View the race map!
Parking: Participants may park in Convo Lot F or Convo Lot G during the race.
Registration Information
Cost:
$12.00 ‐ Pre‐Registration (Closes 9/23/11)
$15.00 ‐ Day of Race (10/1/11)
Proceeds will benefit UREC student professional development fund. Checks can be written out to "JMU UREC."
In-Person Registration: Must be completed at UREC with a check or FLEX. The registration form (PDF) must be present along with your payment option. We have copies of the registration form at UREC, under the Information Touch Screen.
Mail Registration: Includes filling out a registration form and sending that document,
along with a check, to Aaron Combs, the Coordinator of Intramural Sports and Special Events.

Four race day passes, your logo on the sponsorship sign, your company's name listed on our website, your company's name announced at the awards ceremony, and the opportunity to provide printed materials for the race-day bags.*
Race Day Package
Six race day passes, your logo on the sponsorship sign, your company's name listed on our website, your company's name announced at the awards ceremony, the opportunity to provide printed materials for the race-day bags and your company's logo on the back of race t-shirts.*
*To any package, for an additional fee, we will hang your company's banner in the recreation facility one week before and after the race (banner must be approved by UREC). Approximately 4000 students, faculty and staff use the facility on weekdays during the semester.
