Adventure Equipment Rental Service
For this fall, we have three new options to meet your adventure equipment needs. Stop by the UREC Equipment Center or check out all the details on line at our website.

Basic Rental Service
UREC offers Eureka Assault Outfitter tents and Kelty sleeping bags as part of our basic rental service. You can check out this equipment for you and a friend with a small deposit on your JAC.  
Extended Rental Service
If you want an upgrade on your equipment, we have what you need. Mountain Hardware tents and sleeping bags, Primus and Coleman stoves, Old Town Canoes, Mad Rock climbing shoes and much more for those who want the best for their adventures. The fees are small but the rewards are great. 
Group Rental Service
It you need to get your group or organization out in the wild for a night or two, we can help.  This equipment is available by reservation only. Contact Sue Lowley at lowleysa@jmu.edu to make your reservation. 

Equipment Check Out Procedures
You must present your JAC to check out any equipment.  Your JAC will be held for equipment used in the building.  Any equipment that leaves UREC requires a deposit on FLEX which will be given back if the equipment is in good condition upon its return.  We reserve the right to limit equipment checked out.  All equipment is checked out on a first come first served basis.
