How much is a membership to UREC?
Membership is free to JMU faculty and staff. For more information about guest and family priviliges, click here.
When are family hours?
Academic year family hours start on Friday at 6:00 pm and go through Sunday 6:00pm. All break hours, including summer are family hours. During these times only, immediate family are free of charge.
When is UREC less busy?
- Monday - Thursday: 6:30am - 2:30pm
- Weekends (Friday - Sunday)

How do I reserve a racquetball court?
Reserve your court up to 24 hours in advance by calling us at 568-8722.
How much do group fitness classes cost?
Almost every group fitness class and many of our programs are free of charge to the JMU community. If you can register online, the class is free!
When students are on break, when is UREC open?
UREC will typically be open from 11:30am-1:30pm (lunch) and 5-7pm (post-work). Summer hours vary. Check the UREC homepage or the hours page for the most accurate schedule. |
