	Shannon was born and raised at the Jersey Shore but made her way to the great state of Virginia in 2001. She received her B.A. in Communication at Virginia Tech (go Hokies!) and is working on her M.S. in Kinesiology – Sport and Recreation Management while at JMU. In her spare time she enjoys running, biking, swimming, triathlon-ing, and anything outdoors.
