TIME: Early morning hours of Sunday, November 15, 2009 at
between 03:30 AM and 03:45 AM.
SUSPECT:
Three unknown white males
In
compliance with the "Timely Notice" provisions of the federal Jeanne
Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics
Act of 1998 the University
Police are giving notice of a incident reported to the Harrisonburg Police
Department involving an alleged incident of Assault that occurred off-campus.
The
Harrisonburg Police Department advise they are investigating an incident that reportedly
occurred Sunday morning, November 15, 2009 in the 1000 Block of Port Republic
Road in Harrisonburg, VA. A male victim reported that three unknown white
males assaulted him. The victim
was taken to RMH with non-life threatening injuries.
The
case is still being actively investigated by law enforcement. Members of the University community are
urged to be vigilant and report any unusual circumstances and/or suspicious
activities/persons.
