The Criminal Investigations Division presently utilizes two fully trained police officers and are available on call 24 hours a day. The officers handle all reported cases that require in-depth follow-up investigations. The department works directly with other local Police agencies and with the local Commonwealth Attorney's Office in solving and prosecuting criminal cases within the JMU jurisdiction.
