The vendors listed below are only suggestions for departmental buyers to utilize when making purchases. PLEASE MAKE SPECIAL NOTE this list is NOT a complete listing of all available Small, Woman Owned, or Minority Owned businesses in these categories. There are many more available. These vendors are both eVA Registered and state certified as SWAM vendors and are only examples. These vendors are not considered "preferred" vendors although most listed are on cooperative contracts. For more detailed lists buyers can search the Department of Minority Business Enterprise database, run a "Bidders List" from the eVA website within Reports and Documents, or contact Procurement Services for potential options. We encourage all buyers and decision makers to attend the JMU SWAM Vendor Fair each year it is offered for the best SWAM vendor contact information. Our next JMU SWAM Vendor Fair will be held in the summer of 2011. Vendors wishing to market to campus are also encouraged to participate in the fair as this is the best way to reach out and develop relationships with campus buyers.
