Less than 100 days to go...

We are within the last 100 days of reaching the pinnacle of James Madison University's first formal capital campaign, The Madison Century Campaign.

The Madison Century Campaign: A Campaign for James Madison University is a $50 million comprehensive capital campaign, which concludes on June 30, 2008, that links the celebration of our centennial past with the beginning of our next 100 years. The Campaign has concentrated fundraising efforts to garner support for Madison's most pressing needs, including: scholarship support, faculty endowments, capital improvements, special university initiatives, and ongoing operating and academic support. In short, this campaign will help secure JMU's place as one of the top public universities in the nation.

Over the past seven years, many generous donors have contributed to our success, including 16 members who have joined our Million Dollar Society. For all those who contributed to the campaign thus far, thank you for your generous support.

The celebration of James Madison University's Centennial anniversary was in reality a commencement, a celebration of our past, but also a new beginning. We are embarking on a journey in which we intend to validate JMU's reputation for being regarded as the leading comprehensive university. In order to achieve such comprehensive excellence we rely on an ever-increasing foundation of private support to preserve quality and ensure positive growth well into our second century.
