Costs

Tuition per credit hour in summer 2008 was $305 for Virginia residents and $855 for out-of-state students; tuition rates for the 2008 program will be set by JMU during spring 2009.

In addition to tuition and fees, all students are responsible for their housing and other living expenses. During the 4 weeks of on-campus instruction, participants can apply to JMU for dormitory housing or for a small studio apartment. Requests will be granted on a space-available basis with costs ranging from $700 to $1,000 for the 4-week period. Participants can also identify their own off-campus housing.

All program participants are responsible for their own housing during their internships.
