SPAN 300 Grammar and Communication
Intensive training in grammatical structures and their application to oral and written communication. [NOTE: Students who have already taken SPAN 300 will be placed into SPAN 320 (oral and written communication) or SPAN 400 (advanced conversation).]

SPAN 446/GHUM 200 Argentine Literature
An introduction to the interpretation of basic literary forms through an examination of Argentine literature. The course begins with an introduction to 19th-century literature and then focuses on 20th-century short stories and poetry.  [NOTE: Students desiring GenEd credit will register for this course as GHUM 200; students who want Spanish credit (rather than GenEd credit) will register for it as SPAN 446.]

POSC 371 Argentine Politics & Society
An introduction to Argentine politics and to the larger societal and regional context in which national politics unfolds.  Special topics include democratization, human rights, economic policy, foreign relations, and environmental politics.
