Class of 2018

Political Science Major, Women & Gender Studies and Non-Profit Studies minor

Williamsburg, VA

I am a student of James Madison University working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a double minor in both Women and Gender Studies and Non-Profit Studies.  Outside of my formal education, I am the Social Chair for National Society of Collegiate Scholars, a volunteer at the Rockingham/Harrisonburg SPCA, and in my free time I enjoy playing intramural soccer. I began working at the John C. Wells Planetarium my freshman year at JMU when I was a majoring in physics and have been lucky enough to stay on the staff through that major change in my life (pun intended).  While I’m no longer studying physics or astronomy, I thoroughly enjoy engaging in community outreach and teaching the families, peers, and adults who visit the planetarium about our universe.
