Notice of a
Scholarship
Available to JMU Students with a Career interest in
Religion
The Warren W. Hobbie Foundation provides funding for substantial
scholarships to be given to JMU students who are planning "to
serve their fellow man through organized religion." No
preference is given to any particular religion or
denomination. Students must be returning to JMU in Fall
2005.
The Department of Philosophy and Religion at James Madison
University has the responsibility of selecting recipients of the
awards. We would like to reach all students who would qualify
to apply. Therefore, we are sending this notice to various
campus community figures and organizations associated with
religion. Please assist us in making this fine scholarship
opportunity known to appropriate students.
