This site provides several Web camera views of the construction of the JMU Performing Arts Center. Please note: The "Live-View Web Cam" requires your Web browser to have both Java and JavaScript enabled.

Construction began in the fall of 2007 on the JMU Performing Arts Center. When the building is completed in 2010, the Performing Arts Center will at once boldly affirm the university’s commitment to the arts – an essential component completing a liberal arts curriculum – and symbolically complete Madison’s cherished quadrangle.
Below, you can see a current image of the construction site from a Web-enabled camera installed in February 2008. The diagram at right shows the camera's field of view and the location of the construction site on the west side of Main street, directly across from Wilson Hall and the JMU Quadrangle.
