Spring Break Regulation Reminders for Faculty/Staff/Students

Parking Services would like to remind faculty, staff and students that all regular parking regulations will remain in effect during the week of Spring Break, March 4 - 8, 2013. All vehicles must park in accordance with restrictions based on their permit type.

Students wishing to leave their vehicles on campus during the break are advised to use R1 Lot, the Resident Lot adjacent to the Village on Duke Drive. All vehicles are required to display current, valid JMU parking permits appropriate to the parking lot. Vehicles parked without permits will be subject to parking citations.

Please note that JMU and Parking Services are not responsible for theft or damage to vehicles parked on JMU property. When parking a vehicle on campus overnight, it is advisable to remove any items of value from the vehicle and securely close and lock all windows and doors. Leave the vehicle in a well-lit area by a main campus street. Parking Services must be notified when large groups intend to park vehicles overnight to prevent conflicts with other Special Events.
