SAT Preparation

JMU's Test Prep SAT Preparation programs offer serious preparation for the high stakes undergraduate admissions exams.

James Madison University understands the vital role that college entrance exams such as the SAT play in college admissions. Acceptance into a student’s school of choice can hinge on his or her performance on these high stakes standardized tests. Properly prepared students are more likely to perform to their highest potential, and JMU Test Prep is here to help students in the Roanoke area meet their potential through our SAT Prep courses and SAT Summer Institutes.

SAT Prep courses during the academic year prepare students to reach the exam date of their choice at peak performance.  These courses meet once per week leading up to the most popular SAT exam dates allowing participants to practice their new skills during the week.  The extended format of the SAT Prep Course leads to greater opportunities for learning and interaction with our expert instructors.

JMU Test Prep's SAT Summer Institutes offer comprehensive preparation in a condensed format. The SAT Summer Institute is an intensive test prep program that provides students with the tools they need to prepare for, and ace, the SAT exam.  The condensed one week format is a convenient way for students to develop essential test taking tools without giving up a full summer.  Students are provided with an in-depth review of the exam materials, insight into strategies for succeeding on standardized tests, and a comprehensive study plan.
