Registration Information

Program Admission Requirements: In order to be admitted, you must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or a General Education Development Certificate (GED). There are no specific skills or experience that are considered prerequisites for entry into the training program. By proceeding with registration, you are verifying that you meet the requirements of the program.

Register Online by clicking on the training you want to take. (Credit card payments can only be accepted through online registration.)

  • Payment is due at time of online registration and must be made by credit card (AMEX, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.) There is a $5 credit card convenience fee assessed at the time of payment. Credit card payments can only be accepted through online registration.

  • In-Person - You may also register in-person. We are located on the 3rd floor at the JMU Ice House, 127 West Bruce St, Harrisonburg.

Once your registration has been processed, you will receive an registration confirmation email with information on how to access the online course within 2 business days of payment confirmation.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy: Your online program enrollment will be activated within 2 business days of receiving payment confirmation. If you wish to cancel, you must contact us within 7 days of program enrollment to receive a refund minus a $50.00 administrative fee and any credit card processing fees. Cancellations must be received by email at Any items received must be returned to Career Step. No refunds will be given for cancellation requests received after 7 days of program enrollment.
