When the Associate Vice President (AVP) for student affairs and university planning has reasonable cause to believe that a student meets one or more of the criteria for administrative leave, the AVP will initiate an administrative request to meet with the student to:

  • Review available information concerning behaviors and/or incidents that have caused concern.
  • Provide a copy of this policy and discuss its contents.
  • Allow an opportunity for the student to provide evidence and defense of  his/her behavior and/or to make suggestions for reasonable accommodations short of administrative withdrawal from the university.
