Transfer Housing
Transfer housing requests are considered on a first come, first served basis. New Transfer Students interested in on-campus housing should complete a Housing Application as part of the Transfer One Book process. After your application is received you will be notified of your contract status through your JMU email. If you are offered an on-campus housing contract you will have a limited amount of time in which to accept this binding contract offer. Once you have accepted your contract offer, the Housing Office will place you in a vacant space in an upperclass hall.
On campus housing for transfer students is not guaranteed. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer any additional housing contracts to transfer students for the 2012-2013 academic year.
You can find information about off-campus properties and helpful resources at the Off Campus Life Office. Transfer students will need to secure off-campus housing.
