Shorts Hall, completed in 1968, was named in honor of Clyde P. Shorts, a former professor of education.

Shorts Hall is comprosed of suites of six double rooms that share a common lounge. The two suites share a bath, which is cleaned by housekeeping staff on a regular basis.

Shorts has laundry facilities, a study lounge, elevators and a TV lounge with vending services. Wireless internet access is available near the study lounge.

A typical room in Shorts Hall has:

  • Two single beds with innerspring mattresses, all bunkable and adjustable
  • Two individual desks with chairs
  • Two built-in wardrobes with top storage
  • Two chests of drawers
  • Fluorescent lighting
  • Mini blinds or roller shades
  • TV cable hookup and internet access (wired)
  • Tiled floors
  • This building is not air-conditioned
