Rockingham Hall, purchased in 2001, is named for Rockingham County. The hall was renovated during the summer of 2005.

Rockingham Hall is comprosed of double rooms that are approximately 30% larger than other residence halls rooms on campus. All Rockingham rooms have private baths; residents are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their bathroom. Rockingham Hall also has laundry facilities, study lounges, TV lounges, a vending area, kitchen with microwave oven, sand volleyball court, and microwave ovens are permitted (one per room). Wireless internet access is available near the D first floor lounge.

A typical room in Rockingham Hall has:
- Two single beds with innerspring mattresses, all bunkable
- Two individual desks with chairs
- Two free standing wardrobes

- Internet access (wired)
- TV cable hookup with ability to purchase premium cable
- Wall-to-wall carpeting
