Writing Center
Need help getting started with a paper? Need someone to review your paper?
Visit the FYI Writing Center in Huffman Hall, Room A100 to get help from one of five Peer Writing Tutors. They are available to help first year students with any of their writing concerns. We accept walk-ins or you can call and make an appointment: 540-568-3598.

Writing Center Etiquette:
- Bring two copies of your paper . . . this will make it easier to follow along with your tutor.
- Please DO NOT bring your paper on a jump drive or a laptop.
- Remember to bring a copy of your assignment/rubric.
- Please be courteous and turn off your cell phone before entering the writing center.
- Remember, we are a writing center, not a fix-it shop, so be prepared to get involved!
