8:00-8:30 a.m. – Check in

Students:

Have your JACard (JMU identification card) photo taken

Verify your eID

Receive important academic information for your advising session

Family/Guests:

Receive a helpful packet of JMU information

Enjoy a continental breakfast and meet other family members and guests

9:00-10:00 a.m.

Students Session:

Chillin’ with your OPA and ANTs – learn what it’s like to be a student at JMU from other students. There will also be a chance for you ask questions about your Transfer Credit Evaluation.

Family/Guest Session:

Assisting your transfer student in transition – learn what JMU expects of your student, what their curriculum will include, what services are available to assist them in their transition, and how you can support them during their transition.
