Orientation Parking Directions
Directions to Orientation parking
When you approach Harrisonburg, tune your radio to 1610AM for announcements on Orientation, traffic and parking conditions. Please note that JMU now operates under a gated campus access and is closed from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Fridays.
Designated Orientation parking is in Lot C4 which can be accessed via the directions below.
Northbound or Southbound on Interstate 81: Take Exit 247B (U.S. 33 West). Take 33 West to Cantrell Avenue and turn left. Proceed through two traffic lights and turn left into JMU Parking Lot C4.*
Handicapped Parking: On Cantrell, proceed through three traffic lights to Mason Street and turn left. Go to first stop sign and turn left onto Grace Street. Follow the road until it dead ends. Handicapped parking will be to your left.*
* Look for yellow Orientation signage throughout campus.
