JMU SHRM is the student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management, a national organization dedicated to the advancement of the Human Resource profession around the world. As a student chapter of an organization of almost 200,000 HR professionals, our purpose is to prepare our members for a career in HR management. Through the help of Shenandoah Valley SHRM, our sponsoring professional chapter, we provide our members with insight into the real world of Human Resources Management through workshops, seminars, and speakers.
