We thought that the
kids would know Clifford (remember that big red dog?) so we found a story
about him and fire fighters to read to them.

helping teach the kids how to stop, drop and roll.

really good at it - he kept doing it over and over again.

Towards the end some
of them started to get braver and wanted to try it for themselves, Kathy
had to help convince some of them.

We also taught them
what number to call when there was an emergency and handed out these great
bright orange stickers that had 911 on them!
