  Professional Development Fund

Purpose: In the fall of 1991 the Faculty Women’s Caucus created a professional development fund. The fund was established to provide financial support for members of the Caucus who are in need of funds to pursue or complete research, as well as support for additional activities that would advance professional growth. There is no restriction on the focus of the project, however research or projects addressing women's issues will be given special consideration. Funding may be applied to conference travel, publication costs, and research expenses but are not restricted to these endeavors. It is the intention of the Caucus to provide a ($200.00) grant to one or two members each academic year.

Eligibility:  The fund is available to all members of the JMU Faculty Women's Caucus who are in good standing.  Members who receive funding are not eligible to receive another grant for two years, unless the Caucus Board decides that some extenuating circumstances call for a waiver of this condition of eligibility.
