Scholarship and Financial Aid. JMU offers financial support to both Forensics and Debate competitors. Other financial assistance is available through the financial aid office. 58% of JMU students receive financial aid, and the average amount is $4800. Student worker positions are also available through the Forensics/Debate program. Both the School of Communication and JMU are dedicated to assisting students in financing a college education.

Students must apply and be accepted to James Madison University before becoming eligible for scholarships. We truly want students to select JMU for its academic programs and forensics opportunities.
