Homerun Derby
Rules
Homerun Derby will start at 6:00 at Grottoes Field. Get there early to sign up.
Winner receives a trophy. There is a five dollar entrance fee per person. Each player will receive eight outs. An out is defined as any time a swing is taken and a homerun is not hit. If there are more than fifty participants, the first round will consist of only five outs per person rather than the eight stated above. The top six finishers will move to the second round were there will be given five outs each. The top two finishers will move on to the finals were they will get five outs each. After each round, the particpants homerun total is set back to zero. Everyone must use either a -3 or wooden bat. Each participant supplies there own pitcher.
