ALUMNI!
Student Ambassadors work with
the Office of Alumni Relations on a number of events and
opportunities throughout the academic year, and even over the
summer! Our motto is "Students
Serving Students Past, Present, and Future." Working with JMU alumni is the "Past"
portion of our mission, and is an important part of what we do as
ambassadors.
The JMU Alumni Association
was founded in 1911. Since then, it
has been growing stronger and stronger, from 20 members to about
70,000 now! Student Ambassadors
assist the Office of Alumni Relations, which provides quality
programs to support educational, cultural, service, and social
opportunities to meet the needs of the university and its diverse
alumni. Ambassadors volunteer at
alumni events to encourage continued university involvement and
support, and to share our love of JMU with alumni and remind them
why THEY love JMU so much. For more
