LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
"Setting the
Leadership Standard"
The Alumni Leadership Conference
was held this year, January 30 31,
2004. The
Alumni Leadership Conference is organized through the Office of
Alumni Relations as a means to thank alumni leaders for all of
their hard work, devotion, and dedication to JMU. Alumni from the various chapters arrive Friday
night for the awards banquet, and spend Saturday evaluating events
such as Homecoming, listening to presentations, and sharing ideas
with each other and the Office of Alumni Relations in an effort to
educate, improve, and motivate! It
is also an incredible learning experience and a great time for
everyone involved.
Student Ambassadors attend many
of the weekend's events, meeting alumni and sharing their own
experiences and concerns about JMU.
The awards banquet, the basketball game tailgate, and D-Hall lunch
are a few of the events Ambassadors get to attend. GO DUKES!!
