The Alumni Association consists
of over 35 regional Alumni chapters and clubs across the
nation. Each chapter or club plans
programs and events for alumni.
They hold chapter meetings, plan social events, and many raise
scholarship money for JMU students.
They stay closely connected with JMU through the Leeolou Alumni Center,
send representatives to the Alumni Leadership Conference, and
volunteer their time to give back to JMU. The chapter list is growing and the Alumni
Association is becoming stronger each and every day!
Student Ambassadors travel to
local chapter meetings to interact with alumni, and help out at
local chapter events, like the Metro-DC chapter's Crabfest (http://www.jmu.edu/alumni/crabfest/). Alumni chapters also send representatives to
Ambassador meetings at JMU, speak about
the alumni association, and interact with the entire
membership. If any alumni chapters
