November 4, 1998 Meeting Minutes

Dear all:

Thanks to everyone who attended the meeting! I received a
lot of checks at the meeting but there are still some of
you who need to pay.

We are having a canned food drive for ACHESA. There are
two boxes located in the Modular. One is by the sofas and
the other is across from the snack machines. If you bring
in 3 cans you will receive one point and if you bring six
or more you will receive 2 points. There is a sheet of
paper and a pen in each box for you to record your name and
the number of cans you bring in. You are on your honor.
The food drive will continue until Nov. 19th. Some families
in the area do not have much money to spend on their
Thanksgiving meal or food in general so it would be nice if
everyone could bring in a few cans and help out the less
fortunate.

Also, don't throw away any old clothes or clothes that you
have outgrown. ACHESA will have a clothes drive right
after Thanksgiving. Maybe over Thanksgiving break you
could clean out your closet at home. Ask your siblings and
parents for clothes they no longer want too. Great job
community service committee!!!

The marketing and fundraising committee presented the new
t-shirt designs. We discussed the designs and they stayed
after the meeting to perfect them. The designs look
awesome! The t-shirts will be long-sleeve and white. They
will cost about $12-$14...not bad for a long-sleeve
t-shirt! I will send a forwarded message with the t-shirt
design attached to it. Please reply back to Mini with your
name and size if you want one (kanwarmx).We need to have
the final order list by next meeting (Nov.19th) These
shirts will be great publicity for ACHESA!!!

We are planning to have a speaker for the next meeting
(Nov. 19th @ 5:00) so we should have a high attendance for
this meeting. I will keep you posted on who it will be.

The social committe is planning a Holiday Party sometime
between when we get back from Thanksgiving break and exams.

Patrick Cropper announced a job opportunity at a medical
office so if you are interested please email or call him
(croppepa).

I distributed an ACHESA member list with everyone's eamil
and phone# so make sure you get one from me. I will have
them at the next meeting.

Don't forget to check out the awesome new t-shirt design
and order one from Mini!!!
