I hope everyone had a fun, relaxing spring break. I think
some of them were more so than the others since we didn't
see you at the meeting yesterday! So here's what happened..

The bylaws have been revised. Each amendment was approved
with a 100% vote of those in attendance. Thanks everyone!
The bylaws will be typed up and sent to Student
Organization Services for final approval. Hopefully before
the end of the semester! :-)

All you Sophomores and Juniors!
    PLEASE think about running for an exec position for
next year. It is a lot of fun. We will need candidates
for President, Vice President, and Secretary. Elections
will be held at the next meeting (April 2). If you have
any questions about these offices please contact Laura,
Kevin, or myself. We will be glad to fill you in on what
we do behind the scenes. If you're worried about time
commitments don't because it only requires and hour or two
a week and lots of things can be done in your spare time.

Committee Announcements:

Service:
    We will be starting our clothing drive ASAP. All
ACHESA members are highly encouraged to donate at least one
item of clothing for the drive. Each item will count as 4
points toward the 17 required for the semester. This is a
good time to do some spring cleaning in your closet.
    FYI on some activities coming up that you may want
to do on your own (Call CSL at x6366 if you're interested):
        March 28 - Annual Fun Day
        April 3 - Arts and Crafts for students w/
            disabilities
        March 31 - Very Special Arts Projects
            meeting
        March 28 - Special Olympics
        April 4 - Ottobine Elementary's Clean-up
            day

Program Curriculum:
    Matt is working on geting orientation times for
ACHESA members who want to check books out of the RMH
library. Orientations will take place in the
fall semester, however, seniors in dire need
of the library materials may work out an
orientation this semester. Incidentally, we can use their
resources now but until we have an orientation we cannot
check out materials. This is a great research source!!

Fundraising:
    LISTEN UP!!! The ACHESA Car Wash is going to be
held this Sunday. All ACHESA Members need to be there (the
attendance policy does apply so if you cannot make it
PLEASE let me know ASAP!). Details:

    ACHESA Car Wash @ Sheetz on Sunday, March 22 from
    10a.m. - 12p.m. (if it is cancelled you will
    receive a phone call - around 9:30 Sunday morning)

Mark your calendars! On April 9th we will be having a
speaker, Ken Gibson.

Does anyone have artistic talent? If so, submit an entry
in the ACHESA Logo Contest. We are looking for a wild new
logo to use for our t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. next year.
Submissions will be due by 4/16/98 at the ACHESA Meeting.
There is a mystery prize for the winner and of course
points for all participants! On your mark, get set,
draw!!!!

We will be having an ACHESA retreat at Camp Horizons.
There will be challenging ropes courses and camping out fun
for all who come. The date? April 26th. Mark your
calendars. This will be lots of fun and a great way to end
the semester!
