Dear All ACHESA members:

Thanks to everyone who came to the meeting. We were
excited to see some new faces!!! If you have any questions
about the application or dues just email me, ask an
officer, or talk to Dr. Thompson.

Don't forget to come to the speaker on Mon. Jan. 25 @ 3:30
in Modular 122. The speaker is Sheryl Garland who is the
Admin.of Ambulatory Services at MCV. She will talk about
her job as well as the job market in HSA. Please come with
questions. She is a dynamic woman so I hope to see everyone
there.

If you signed up to bring food/drinks for the speaker -
don't forget. Please come a few min. early if you are
bringing something so we can set up. Thanks.

Ititiation will be held on Feb. 25 around 5:30 so please
mark that in your calendar. The place is TBA. Dress is
business professional. We will have a sit-down
dinner(don't worry- ACHESA pays the tab) and a speaker from
the MCV graduate school. Please email me if you know for
sure that you can attend. I need to get a head count.

T-shirt: pay your $15 and give it to an officer or Mini or
Kelly Stiles. The checks can be made payable to ACHESA.
They will be here the 26th.

Dues are $15 for the semester (local dues). You can give
your checks to one of the officers. Thanks.

If you are interested in going to the ACHE meeting in
Chicago for the second week in March pleas see Dr. Thompson
ASAP for details. Two alumni who are in the MCV graduate
program are going (Tristie Reed and Jackie DeSousa).

We will have a clothes drive within the next few weeks. I
will email info. to you about it soon.

Elections for ACHESA exec. will be held at the end of Feb.
If you are interested please feel free to talk to the
officers if you have any questions. Also, let others know
that you are interested in running to get the word out.

Keep checking your email for the date of the next meeting.
It will be sometime before initiaiton (probably on a
Thurs.). We will stick to the Wed.- Thurs. alternations
because everyone seemed to like it.

*email me if you can definitely attend initiation

Have a fun, safe weekend!!!

Sincerely,
Carrie Hinton
