OneWeb performance prototype available for on-campus review

The OneWeb Project Steering Committee announces the on-campus only availability of the first performance prototype using OracleAS Portal, the university's new Web infrastructure.

These are the first pages to be made available to the JMU campus. The several screens you can view will display sample news feeds, images, search capabilities, feedback forms and other content we are testing on the new portal. While these test pages are far from the complete portal experience you will see in production mode, we wanted you to see and have a chance to comment on this portion of our work.

The initial performance prototype testing is over, but a preview 2 will be available sometime in November. Check back for more details later.

OracleAS Portal will also support JMU's future Web publishing needs. The HTML editor we plan to use with the portal is also available for your review. Click here to view a demo.

These screens will remain in place through April 28. After that, please return to the OneWeb site for updates on future previews.
