James Madison University’s Office of Disability Services invites you to participate in our first annual disABILITY Career and Resource Fair on March 31st, 2011 from 11AM – 3PM. This will provide you with a wonderful opportunity to showcase your agency and services to a university audience including individuals with disabilities and those who have an interest in serving people impacted by disability. This fair will provide information with an emphasis on the resources and adaptive technology for people with disabilities, community resources for individuals with disabilities, and transition from college to employment and/or graduate programs. Additionally, the disABILITY Career and Resource Fair will provide students the chance to connect with agencies and companies about prospective employment opportunities.
Vendors and agencies can register for the event through James Madison University’s Recruit-A-Duke system. The deadline for registration is March 14th.
For the fair, you will be provided with a table for the event and a boxed lunch. Additionally, you will be able to park in lots near Warren Hall and a shuttle system will be provided to transport vendors to our event. Also, we will have students available to help with unloading and transporting materials/equipment into the fair. There is no registration fee for attending our Career and Resource Fair.
We sincerely hope that you can join us on March 31st!
